This seminar is convened  for world authorities and researchers to present papers on recent advances in  High Power Microwave Research and Applications. Papers will cover recent advances in High Power Microwave Technology and research results to problems such as high power microwave technology, environmental remediation, fuel reforming from ethanol to hydrogen, toxic waste removal such as dioxin, aerospace applications, composite dielectrics, metal heating, ceramic sintering, microwave carbonisation and pyrolysis, tyre reforming to oil and carbon, microwave car ignition, timber treatment and forming, designed food, plasma surface treatments , bio-fuel, bio- and nano-technology, microwave process and applicator design and simulation...

important DEVELOPMENT for intending authors

The Editor-in-Chief, Professor Eli Jerby, of the Journal of Microwave Power and Electromagnetic Energy wants to use the papers in this seminar for a special issue in 2008 after they are independently reviewed.

We also intend to publish a special book of proceedings for the seminar to mark the special occasion
